Along with rice, pea and soy protein, hemp protein is one of the most popular vegetable proteins and is one of the healthiest and most nutritious protein powders around.

It has an optimal amino acid profile (mixing ratio of the essential amino acids to each other), an ideal fatty acid pattern and a high biological value. The biological value indicates how efficiently the proteins contained in a substance can be absorbed by our body. Thanks to its outstanding amino acid profile, hemp protein contains all the essential amino acids that humans need - in sufficient quantities and in perfect proportions.

Compared to whey protein, hemp protein provides fiber, essential fatty acids and a high mineral and vitamin content. The queen of vegetable proteins - as the hemp protein is often called - is rich in branched-chain amino acids (BCAA), which are essential for muscle building (1) and muscle maintenance (2) and has a particularly high proportion of the amino acid L-arginine.

Globulin and albumin
Hemp protein consists of two types of protein: 65 percent globulin and 35 percent albumin.

Albumin: Albumin is an extremely high quality protein that is very similar to the protein in egg white and provides an important source of antioxidants.
Globulin: Globulin forms antibodies that are essential for an active and strong immune system.

The hemp plant, originally from Central Asia, is one of the oldest plants in the world and has been used by humans for many centuries. Hemp seeds are made up of 20 to 25 percent protein. The seeds of wild plants contain little or no part of the psychoactive ingredient tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Our hemp seeds are from holistic cultivation, free of genetic engineering and contain 0% THC.

Suitable for a wide variety of diets
Hemp protein is free from animal ingredients, fats, yeast, sugar, soy, gluten and lactose. It is therefore an excellent alternative to common proteins such as whey or casein protein, both for people with food intolerances and for people who follow a vegan or vegetarian diet.

It is sweetened without aspartame: As with all new LSP® product developments, the synthetic sweetener aspartame has not been used. Instead, we sweeten with calorie-free sucralose made from natural sugar.

Consumption recommendation:

Hemp protein powder can be eaten mixed in shakes or fresh juices. It also tastes very good with hemp, almond or oat milk - for example in muesli. It can also be used for baking as a flour substitute (bread, rolls, cakes, pizza bases, pancakes).

The preparation as a shake is recommended with water. Stir 50 g (approx. 4 tablespoons) of powder into 400 ml of water. The preparation in the mixer or shaker is ideal. Depending on your needs, you can consume several servings a day. Mixing in with dishes is also possible.
